Recipe: Creamy Almond Miso Sauce with Prawns, Rice + Greens
This is seriously one of my favourite, and most consumed meals! It is so easy to make, especially if you've prepared the sauce, and cooked up some rice ahead of time. It's filling, tasty, provides micronutrients, and covers all the macronutrients. If you are low carb you could even try it with cauliflower rice!
Let's get started!
My favourite way to enjoy this sauce (as pictured):
-6 prawns cooked in a little bit of olive oil with chilli flakes and garlic powder.
-Place on top of a bed of rice with some mixed greens
-Pour on sauce!
Sauce ingredients:
-2 tbsp white miso
-1/4 cup almond butter
-1/4 cup almond milk
-2 tsp acv
-2 tsp honey
-2 tsp ginger
-Salt and pepper to taste
-Sriracha or cayenne if you want some spice
Instructions:
1) Combine all ingredients in a blender
2) Blend and pour!
-It should last in the fridge for 3-4 days
